After the liberation of slaves, Mary Simpson opened a small shop in Manhattan in New York, where she was selling milk, butter and eggs, and a variety of baked goods from your kitchen.
Mary kept a sincere devotion tothe former owner, and even hung a portrait of him in his shop.
