Banana cake pops with chocolate

Cake pops - a fun meal. The first time I tried to cook them recently when we celebrated my birthday. But in fact, they are suitable for any party, especially if there are children on it.

On my birthday was a few girlfriends withkids, so I wanted to do something fun, but not too cloying for them. I especially did not know how to make cake pops, so I decided to adapt the recipe for his favorite banana cake and use it for these fun cakes on a stick.

I add some decorations, and fun cake pops were ready! And I do not even know who they liked more children or adults ...

Ingredients for "Banana cake with chocolate glaze pop":

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar;
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoons butter;
  • 2 tablespoons of yogurt;
  • 1 ripe banana;
  • 1 egg;
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder;
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract;
  • a pinch of salt.

The icing and decoration

  • 1/4 cup whipping cream (36-40% fat);
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of sugar;
  • Several large raspberry;
  • little chocolate chips (or chocolate sweets);
  • a little butter;
  • slightly caramelized condensed milk;
  • white pills (for decoration);
  • 12 sticks of candy.

Recipe "Banana cake with chocolate glaze pop":

Dilute the dough for the cake Pops
First, preheat the oven to 180 gr.C.
Melt the butter in a small saucepan and heat-resistant bowl in the microwave.
Mash banana with a fork until smooth puree.
Using an electric mixer, beat the egg with the sugar until fluffy foam. Then add the butter, vanilla extract and mashed banana. Mix everything carefully.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add the dry ingredients in a bowl with the wet and mix gently with a spoon.

We spread the dough into the mold
Now you will need a form for baking mini muffins (or nuts). Oil the two halves of the mold. (You can use non-stick spray).
Fill each cell dough. Fill out very well, even sprinkle a little on top of dough.

Cover with a lid shape

Connect the bottom and top part (the one that with holes) form and secure with clips.
Keykpopsy Bake for about 20 minutes (check the readiness of using wooden toothpicks: inserted in the batch, it should go out clean).</ P>

Torn off excess dough
Remove the form from the oven, let it cool for about 5 minutes. before removing the upper mold part.
When the dough has risen through the holes, then remove it - it comes off very easily (my daughter was thrilled when I allowed her to tear off the extra pieces and just eat them right away!).

Let cool cake pop
Remove the top of the mold and leave to cool cake pop.
Meanwhile, melt the chocolate (I used chocolate chips) in the microwave or in a water bath.

Insert sticks into pop cake
When the chocolate is melted, stir it until smooth.
Dip each stick in the melted chocolate and insert it into each cake pops.

Give the cake to stand in a refrigerator
Insert sticks into all keykpopsy and place them on a plate upside down for a while, until the chocolate hardens and sticks will hold good.
(I left them in the refrigerator overnight and finished cooking the next morning).

Cover the cake with chocolate icing
The next step is to cover Pops cake with chocolate icing.
Dip each ball on a stick in the melted chocolate. Depending on what kind of chocolate you use, you can add a little oil, so chocolate coating will be more brilliant.
It is best to use a small, but fairly deep bowl, cake pop to make it easier to immerse into the glaze.

Fix the cake pop for drying
Just put the ball on a stick in a cup of chocolate, help yourself with a spoon if necessary. Remove the excess chocolate, cake pops turning over the cup.
Then place it so that the chocolate couldsolidify. It is best to use a piece of foam, which is easy to stick wand. I did not have it, so I used a cup into which I put a paper towel, not allowing to fall cake on a stick.

Decorate cakes cream
The final step is decoration Cake Pops.
It all depends on your imagination. You can simply decorate each ball whipped cream with sugar and caramelized condensed milk, as I did with cake pop music for adults.

Cake pops for kids
But for the kids had to try and make warlike savages like these hats made of raspberry and eye - candy jelly beans.
"Hair" my daughter made of caramel powder for cakes and mouth - from small pretzels (cookies).
In general, there is a place and space for creativity. Especially this work like children, who enjoy not only delicious food, but also the process of creating these little funny little men on a stick.
