Tasty potatoes in the oven - it's my favoriterecipe for a side dish to meat. Baked in the skin of red potatoes with olive oil, garlic and spices turns extremely tender and flavorful. I do not believe that all this delicious dish easy to prepare: take a potato (do not even peeled), seasoned with spices and oil, send it in the oven for an hour. The result is a versatile side dish to meat, fish or vegetables.
If you want to experiment andvary the recipe of potatoes in the oven, you can use parsley, dill, black and red pepper or grated cheese on a grater. Personally, I like to serve baked potatoes, sprinkling it on top of this sour cream. And as a meat accompaniment, I am applying pork chops with honey-mustard sauce (recipe here).
Ingredients for a "Red potatoes with garlic and herbs":
- 1.5 kg red potatoes;
- 50 g of olive oil;
- Rosemary - to taste;
- thyme - to taste;
- oregano - to taste;
- 3-4 cloves of garlic;
- salt - to taste.
Recipe "Red potatoes with garlic and herbs":
Begin by preparing the products. Potatoes are thoroughly wash, dry. Garlic peel.
Washed potatoes are not peeled, cut into halves (if large - in the quarter). Put the potatoes in a baking tin.
Garlic finely chop with a knife or squeeze through the press. Add to the potatoes.
Season with salt to taste.
Sprinkle with rosemary, thyme and oregano.
Liberally drizzle the potatoes with oil and stir.
Submit the form with potatoes in a preheated 180gr.S oven for a time from 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the size of the potato. Every 10-15 minutes, stir the potatoes so that it evenly propeklas from all sides.
Serve oven potatoes with any meat of your choice. Bon Appetit!
