Duck with oranges in the oven

Duck in the oven - a great option for the mainmeals for any occasion. This bird has excellent culinary qualities: it is oily, soft and very tasty. In this recipe, the duck meat baked with brown sugar, spices and orange, that betrays the sweet and sour taste fragrant dish called duck in the oven.

  • duck carcass (2-2.5 kg);
  • 2 liters of cold water;
  • salt and spices to taste;
  • 100 g of brown sugar;
  • 1-2 ripe orange;
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoons wine bite;
  • 1 large onion;
  • black pepper;
  • juniper berries and viburnum (optional);
  • 50 g of gin (possible other spirits);
  • 2 bay leaves;
  • 1 ripe apple;
  • fresh herbs (dill and parsley) - to taste;
  • rosemary, sage, thyme - to taste.
