Recipe for honey bread with raisins

Homemade bread, the recipe of which is given below,It will allow you to provide a family of 4-5 adults quality organic product, which you can be sure that it does not contain harmful chemicals.

Dough:

  • 50g plain wholemeal flour (this flour can be replaced with oat bran, which will make your bread a diet, but it will lead to a more dense texture of bread);
  • 220 g of flour higher or first grade;
  • 1 teaspoon dry yeast;
  • 5 g of sea salt;
  • 1 tablespoon honey;
  • 30 g butter;
  • half of the eggs;
  • 10 g of dried milk and 125 mL water (or 130 grams of milk);
  • ? cup raisins or dried cranberries (or mixture of them);
  • 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil for the lubrication of the form.

Glaze:

  • half of the eggs;
  • 1 tablespoon fresh milk;
  • 1/3 cup cereal flakes or sesame.
This glaze not only gives a warm golden color on top of a loaf of bread, but also makes the crust just stunning - crunchy and flavorful!

bread recipe in the ovenSo, mix warm milk with yeast (do brew), it set aside in a warm place for 15 minutes and lay all the remaining ingredients in a large bowl.

Add the warm sponge in a bowl and knead the dough. Sprinkle the table with flour to prevent the dough from sticking (it is possible to lubricate the work surface, sunflower oil), and carefully knead it for about 10 minutes until its texture becomes soft and smooth. Consider the dough ready, when the finger, it will straighten out when lightly pressed.

Shape the dough into a ball, place in a bowl,cover with cling film and let it rise at room temperature (about 30 gr. C) for about 40 minutes until it will increase in size by half. (The dough rises best when it is round and smooth).

After 40 minutes, place the dough on the desktop, and, having leveled his hands, put raisins / cranberries on a flat dough. Then add and knead a little dough, roll it into a ball.

Grease a baking dish with sunflower oil. Put the dough into the mold, cover with a cloth and for about 30-40 minutes, leave him be approached again, until your loaf will not be twice as much.

Make a shallow incision crossed on toploaf and with a special brush, lubricate the top of your bread with a mixture of eggs and milk. (If you wish, you can sprinkle the top with sugar, cereal muesli or sesame seeds).
