Rabbit baked in the oven - light anddietary meal. Everyone knows that the roasted meat of the animal turns out tender and juicy. But many inhibit complex stages of preparation courses: preparation of the proper consistency or acetic wine marinade, as well as soaking in it carcass. We offer you a simple, but not less tasty recipe of fragrant, mouth-watering dishes, called rabbit baked in the oven.
Rabbit marinated in yogurt and mustard
Ingredients for "Rabbit marinated in yogurt and mustard":
- Rabbit - Bird 1 (about 2 kg);
- mustard - half a cup;
- yogurt - 1 L .;
- onions - 2-4 pcs .;
- seasoning for meat - 1 tsp;
- salt, ground black pepper - to taste.
Recipe "Rabbit marinated in yogurt and mustard":
Wash the meat and to cut it into pieces. Then clean the onions and cut them medium-thickness rings. Take a large bowl, very hard pieces of meat in it, shifting their onion rings. Sprinkle with seasonings and prisolit.
Pour into a bowl of yogurt so that it completely covered the meat. Cover and store in the refrigerator for 10-12 hours. You can leave a rabbit to marinate overnight.
Once the meat is soaked with acid buttermilkand become soft, pour into a bowl of mustard. Leave to marinate for another 20 minutes at room temperature. Now our meat is particularly tender and juicy.
In form, pour a little bakingthe amount of vegetable oil and put the pieces of rabbit meat. Preheat oven to 200 gr. C and place it in the form of 15 minutes. When the timer expires, remove from the oven roasted rabbit pieces and turn them over to the other side. Again, send it in the oven to bake for 15 minutes. Then take out the form, sprinkle the meat with chopped herbs, pour the remaining marinade of yogurt and mustard and simmer everything in the oven until tender (about 20-25 min.).
Rabbit, baked in the oven, serve on a plate with a hot side dish, fresh vegetables or vegetable salads.
