Tender beef liver in sour cream

If you buy in the supermarket pre-cut and liver cleanse, you can soak it in milk at once.

But if you buy it at the market, you will need to remove the hard parts and vessels and cut it into long strips before proceeding to prepare a prescription.

I also want to note that this dish tastes great with buckwheat, is, in my opinion, the best accompaniment to beef liver in sour cream, baked in the oven.

Ingredients for "Tender beef liver in sour cream":

  • 800 g beef liver;
  • 2 medium-sized onions;
  • 1.5 cups of sour cream;
  • 0.5 cups of water;
  • 3 tbsp. tablespoons flour;
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper - to taste;
  • 2-3 tbsp. tablespoons vegetable oil for frying;
  • 0.5 liters of milk for soaking.

Recipe "Tender beef liver in sour cream":

Fill the liver with milk
A piece of liver I had already chopped, if you do not - remove out of her veins and vessels, cut into wide strips and place in a deep bowl.
Fill it with milk and let stand for about an hour.

Mix water and cream
Mix about half a cup of low-fat sour cream shopping and a half cups of water.

fry onions
Preheat a frying pan with a little oil over medium heat, peel onions, cut into half-circles and place in the hot oil.
Fry it until golden brown, stirring occasionally.

Cut the slices of liver
While fried onions, remove the pieces of liver dish with milk and cut into smaller pieces.

Cook for 15 minutes.

For my taste, braised liver in sour cream has the best taste with buckwheat.
