Sand lemon pie with cream

I already wrote that the most delicious lemon cakeMy grandmother used to bake. Her recipe - one of my favorites. A sand lemon pie, the recipe of which is described here, I thought of myself. It is very simple and requires a bit of the most common products.

The basis of the dough covers delicious lemon cream, dusted with powdered sugar - that's the whole recipe. But the taste of it is just wonderful. Try it!

Ingredients for "Sand lemon cake with cream":

For the dough

  • 2 cups flour;
  • 0.5 cups of sugar;
  • 1 packet (200 g) butter.

For cream

  • 4 eggs;
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice;
  • 1.5 cups of sugar;
  • 0.5 cups flour;
  • 1 tbsp. spoon lemon peel;
  • 1 tbsp. spoon of orange peel;
  • a bit of powdered sugar (for sprinkling).

Knead the dough for shortbread lemon pie
In a bowl, mix together the softened butter, sugar and flour.
Put the mixture on the table and knead a soft dough.

Was covered with baking parchment paper
Preheat oven to 180 gr.C.
Cover the pan with parchment paper and grease it with oil.
Make sure to lay not only the bottom of the pan and bumpers.

Bake the dough for the lemon cake in the oven
Spread the dough evenly on the bottom of the pan, level with his hands.
Bake the dough in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until light golden brown.

Prepare the lemon cream
Meanwhile, prepare the cream: In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the lemon juice, citrus zest, remaining sugar and flour.

Fill the tart lemon cream
Remove the pan from the oven, pour the sand base of the cake prepared with cream and bake for another 20-25 minutes, until the cream becomes thick.

Give cool lemon pie
Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature.

Slice and serve the cake on the table
Cut it into squares or triangles, densely sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
