Chicken Teriyaki

Chicken in teriyaki sauce - a popular Japanesedish. Generally the word teriyaki has just two values. First - it is a thick sauce made based on soy, sugar, rice alcoholic drink and various spices. And secondly, so called method of cooking in which the meat, poultry or fish marinated in sauce, roasted on the grill or in the oven and served in a classic teriyaki sauce.

Ingredients for "Chicken Teriyaki":

  • 1 kg of chicken (the best filet);
  • 125 ml of soy sauce;
  • 4 tbsp. tablespoons of apple cider vinegar;
  • . 1 teaspoon ground pepper;
  • 150 g of brown sugar;
  • 2 hours tablespoons of starch.;
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic;
  • 50 grams of sesame seeds (for decoration);
  • pinch of ground ginger (optional).

The recipe for "Chicken Teriyaki":

In a small saucepan, combine the brown sugar,soy sauce, pepper and vinegar. Add divorced in 50 ml. cold water starch, grated ginger and grated garlic. stirring constantly, bring the sauce to a boil, then remove from heat and allow to thicken.
