Fish baked with rice

Fish with rice in the oven - it's a great option forlunch or dinner. In general, such a combination, rice porridge and seafood - it's a classic. In many eastern countries, most traditional dishes include these components, as well as vegetables and spices. In this recipe we propose to supplement the basic ingredients of the fried onions and carrots, as well as to give the dish a delicate flavor, fill it with sour cream. Bake in the oven, the fish turns out juicy and the rice fragrant and soft. You can take any fish, at your discretion, it does not play a big role. In any case, at the end of the process you will find a delicious dish - fish with rice in the oven.

Ingredients for "Fish baked with rice":

  • 1 kg of fish (at your discretion);
  • 1 cup rice (250-300 g);
  • 1 medium carrot;
  • 1 large onion;
  • 3 tbsp. tablespoons vegetable oil;
  • salt and spices - to taste;
  • green beam (dill, parsley);
  • 600ml. boiling water (2 cups);
  • 100 gr. sour cream.

Recipe "Fish baked with rice":

Peeled and washed carrots grate andfry with chopped onion in a frying pan. Do not forget to add to the vegetables vegetable oil (2 tbsp. Spoons). Fry until golden, 8-10 minutes.

Rice rinse well and place in an even layeroiled baking. On top of the rice put coarsely chopped pieces of fish (2-3 cm thick). Now salt dish, add spices to taste and place on fish fried onion and carrot. Greens wash, chop finely and sprinkle her dish. Sour cream dissolve in 2 cups boiling water, add salt, add the seasonings and pour the resulting mixture of rice with fish.

Baking tightly close the foil from the top - so the water will not evaporate, and the dish is juicy and soft. Send your fish with rice in the oven bake at 200gr.S. at 30-40min.
