Sterlet baked with potatoes

Sturgeon, baked in the oven, can easily becomedecoration of the festive table. No wonder this fish is called royal or aqua. Despite its small size (it is the small fish of the sturgeon family, usually it weighs less than 1 kg), it has long been consistently attended the solemn feasts and banquets. But in order to bake delicious sturgeon in the oven, it does not have to be a royal chef. The recipe and a set of required products is very simple. We offer you a layered dish of potatoes, tomatoes and cheese, fish component which acts sturgeon baked in the oven.

Ingredients for "Sterlet baked with potatoes":

  • 1 whole sturgeon (0.5-1 kg);
  • 100 g of mayonnaise;
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoons bread crumbs;
  • 1 kg of potatoes;
  • 5 tomatoes;
  • 1 tbsp. tablespoon butter;
  • 100 g of hard cheese;
  • parsley and dill;
  • salt, spices to the fish, black pepper - to taste.

Start with the preparation of fish. Wash it under running water, remove the fins, cartilage and innards from the ridge. Cut the fish into portions. Rub them with salt, pepper and spices to the fish inside and out. Leave to soak for 5-10 minutes spices.

While the fish is marinated in spices, get vegetables. Wash them, peel and cut into small cubes or circles (at your discretion). Cheese rub on a coarse grater.

Take a deep pan or baking dish of fish. Grease a baking tray and sterlet slices with melted butter. Sprinkle the fish with breadcrumbs on top and place it on a baking sheet.

Around the fish lay the potatoes, and on top of it - tomatoes. Pour mayonnaise on top of everything and flatten with a spoon. Send a baking sheet in the oven.

Bake the dish for 40 minutes at 180 gr.S. 5 minutes before end of cooking, sprinkle the fish with vegetables with grated cheese.

Cooked sturgeon with potatoes and tomatoes gently shift on a dish, sprinkle with chopped herbs and serve.
