Tomatoes, baked in the oven

Servings: 4 Cooking time: 40 minutes

Tomatoes baked in the oven - my favorite kindeating tomatoes, in addition to eating them fresh. They can serve as an additional side dish to meat and fish dishes, a baked potato, rice, a fried chicken or duck, as well as the baked rabbit (how to cook the rabbit in the oven, read here).

Ingredients for "Tomatoes, baked in the oven":

  • 5-7 fresh tomatoes of medium size;
  • salt, pepper, garlic powder - to taste;
  • . 1 teaspoon sugar;
  • 1 tbsp. tablespoon of vegetable oil.

Recipe "Tomatoes, baked in the oven":

tomatoes baked in the oven Tomatoes Wash and pat dry. Cut each tomato in half.
Grease suitable pan or roasting pan with vegetable oil, put the tomatoes on a baking slice up.
Sprinkle the tomatoes with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Add a pinch of sugar each tomato, trying not to get on a baking sheet (on a baking it will burn), to counteract the acid.

tomatoes baked in the oven Sprinkle tomatoes with olive oil (using a nebulizer) and bake in the oven at 190 oC for 40 minutes.
Remove the tomatoes from the oven and sprinkle with any herbs (basil, dill, parsley, green onions). Serve in addition to the main dishes.
