Brussels sprouts with mushrooms and onions

And if you want to vary the recipe, add to the vegetables a couple of tablespoons of sour cream, heavy cream, grated cheese on a grater, or tomato paste.

  • 1.5 kg of Brussels sprouts (fresh or frozen);
  • 500 g button mushrooms;
  • 2 onions;
  • 1,5-2 Art. tablespoons flour;
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic;
  • 500 ml of water or vegetable broth;
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of lemon juice;
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoons vegetable oil;
  • ground black pepper - to taste;
  • salt - to taste.

Prepare foods
Begin by preparing the products. Wash mushrooms, onions and garlic, clean, frozen Brussels sprouts defrost in the microwave.

fry onions
Heat a deep frying pan in 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Slice the onions and fry over medium heat until translucent.

Add the mushrooms
While fried onions, mushrooms cut into small slices. Add the mushrooms to the pan to the onions and cook together, stirring, until the moisture evaporates.

Add salt and lemon juice in hot water
Pour water into a saucepan, bring to a boil on the stove, add the salt and lemon juice to the water.

Cook cabbage 10 minutes
